Winners of the 'Science Through the Lens' Competition

The Jury have met on 13.07.2018 to pick three winners of the Science Through the Lens Competition. We are pleased to announce that due to high number of excellent photographs, the jury have decided to award also distinctions in each category. The winners will receive 500 PLN vouchers to the online photography shop and their work will be presented during the exhibition at the Nencki Institute.

The winners are:

- Piotr Sunderland for "The web" (World under the microscope 🔬) - Marcin Herok for "Cold dark place" (Scientist at work 👨‍🔬) - Barbara Juraszek for "Reflections through round-bottom flask" (Science is fun 🤹)

The distinctions were awarded to:

- Joanna Szymańska for "Microdonut nadziany proppantem czyli podsadzka w szczelinie" (World under the microscope 🔬) - Szymon Suski for "Wasza Wysokość" (Scientist at work 👩‍🔬) - Paulina Patalas-Krawczyk for "No pressure" (Science is fun 🤹)

We would like to congratulate everyone who submitted their work! It was definitely not an easy decision to make.
