3rd PhD Students Conference

The PhD Students' Council co-organized the 3rd PhD Students Conference at the Nencki Institute.

The conference was a follow-up of the previous editions and allowed PhD Students to present their work in three different types (long talk, speed talk, poster). During the conference, we have prepared opening of the exhibition 'Science through the lens' that was also organized by Students. The Director of the Nencki Institute awarded the prizes for the competition that included 500 PLN voucher to the online photography store and Nencki promo packs.

One of the highlights of the conference, was awarding 100th year medals to the PhD Students that contributed the most to science-popularization at the Nencki Institutes. The medals were awarded to:

- Joanna Czarnecka,

- Barbara Juraszek,

- Grzegorz Dobrzański.
